Slow Cooker Eggs Florentine Breakfast Casserole
For this slow cooker recipe Sara and I did a twist on eggs Florentine. We used the My Clean Kitchen breakfast sausage recipe, added some eggs, spinach and feta cheese to make this perfect clean eating breakfast casserole. Since it cooks while you sleep, this dish would be great to make when you know you will have a busy morning. It would also be the perfect holiday breakfast since it requires absolutely no cooking in the morning!
Tomato Basil Scramble
This is a quick and easy breakfast for a busy morning. It’s absolutely scrumptious. The fresh basil is a tasty surprise paired with the tangy tomato. This could also be the perfect breakfast for Christmas morning. You can even make it quick before the kids start tearing into their presents.
Orange Cinnamon Rolls
First of all let me just say OMG. That is right…these things are so good they have me talking like a teenage girl. Trust me…that doesn’t happen very often. The roll part is awesome. You don’t even miss the white flour. And the filling…soooo good. Butter, raw sugar, and cinnamon…need I saw more? Now lets talk icing. I went back and forth on this. How can you make icing without powdered sugar? Now I am here to tell you, it can be done! Cream cheese, butter, honey, vanilla, orange zest…OMG! See I am becoming a teenage girl again.
Homemade Grain Free Dog Biscuits
I confess, my dogs are spoiled. Very spoiled. Jessica’s is too. We both have rescue pups that deserve to be spoiled, so it’s ok. I have a 12 year old 10 pound shih tzu named Bailey who just hangs out and sleeps all day, but always finds time to bark at the evil mail man….
Almond Butter Popcorn Balls
We are in the holiday spirit here at My Clean Kitchen! Today we shopped, pretty much all day. It was cold and wet here but that didn’t stop people from flooding the stores. It was pretty crowded out there! It was such a nice treat to come home and reward ourselves with a delicious popcorn…
Dark Chocolate Holiday Bark – Sea Salt, Toasted Coconut, & Almond
Keeping with the theme of the week, I’m made more holiday food gifts! Today, (another snow day by the way) I made 3 kinds of dark chocolate bark; sea salt, toasted coconut, and almond. All equally delicious, and all will earn you a spot in the food gift hall of fame. Shh! Don’t tell anyone,…
Rosemary Chipotle Roasted Almonds
I usually do a food gift for the neighbors and friends in town. In the past I’ve made candied pecans. But, this year I did a cleaned up version of the “nut” gift. The rosemary and chipotle flavors marry so well with the maple syrup. These almonds are so yummy, I had to force myself to stop eating them so I had enough to package up for gifts. I’ll be making a few more clean eating food gifts this week.
Simple Caprese Appetizers
Today I made Simple Caprese Appetizers. I used fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, and threw in a little prosciutto for a fun twist. All I did was sprinkle them with salt and pepper and drizzle them with a little balsamic vinegar and they are good to go! Simple, Easy, Delicious!!!
