Whipped Cauliflower

Is it just me or is Cauliflower one of the most versatile vegetable our there? You can make it into rice, pasta sauce, pizza crust, popcorn, and tortillas. You can roast it, boil it, and steam it. Even better…you can use it to make a healthy version of mashed potatoes! This whipped cauliflower recipe is so creamy and light that your family won’t know they aren’t eating the real thing. Shh don’t tell my 4 year old!

Whole Wheat Caprese Pitas

Trying to eat clean for lunch can always be a challenge. Especially when at school or the office. Not only does your lunch have to be able to travel well, but it also has to be tasty enough to keep you away from the evil vending machine of local burger joint. These Whole Wheat Caprese Pitas are just the trick. Full of great tasting and satisfying ingredients like fresh tomatoes, thick slices of mozzarella cheese, and topped with a great spinach pesto, they will help you and your family stay on track toward eating clean and delicious food!

Sweet Potato Fries

When we set out to create the perfect sweet potato fries recipe, we want to go more savory then sweet. We cut the sweet potatoes thick, tossed them in coconut oil, and sprinkled them with fresh rosemary. WOW are they good. They have a great depth of flavor that you just cant get from a white potato. Now that I have tried these fries I will never go back to the traditional white potato kind!

I don’t know about you but sometime I struggle to come up with good ideas for lunches that can be takes to school or work. it seems like it is so easy to get in a rut and make the same thing day after day. Unfortunately, when that happens, we quickly become sick of whatever food it is we are bringing. Even when it is something we love. Maple Bacon Cheddar Turkey Burgers

Who said turkey burgers had to be dry! Honestly, I used to be one of those people, but this recipe had made me a convert. they are so moist and delicious, I have already made them twice this week! The maple in the burger patty gives it a little something extra that will have people coming back for more. And the mustard maple syrup sauce it unbelievable! This recipe is sure to be a hit with even the most devout burger lover in your family.

Turkey Meatloaf

Mmmm Quesadillas. Those wonderful, cheesy, warm, crispy little tortilla filled pockets of heaven. Too much? Oh well, what can I say I am an addict. Not only are they quick and easy to make, but they are a great way of sneaking vegetable in your diet. Even veggie haters will eat their tomatoes when they are stuffed in cheesy grilled tortillas. Even when they are whole wheat! Here is our recipe for easy Cheese and Black Bean Quesadillas. Feeling adventurous? Trow in your favorite vegetables and make you own customized version!

How is it that something so simple can be so good? Cheese and crackers, tea and honey, chocolate and strawberries..are just a couple of simple combinations that are pure bliss. Well now it is time to add something else to that list. Nut Butter, Apple and Honey Sandwiches. When these three ingredients are combined, the entire universe seems to fall into place. Life makes sense, the sun begins to shine, birds start singing…you get the picture. It is delicious, trust me, just try it.

Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Remember when you were a kid and you thought Brussel Sprouts were gross? I wonder…did we ever even try them or were we just so pre-programmed to think that way that we just came to believe they were disgusting without even taking a bite? Poor Burssel Sprouts…they never even stood a chance…not with the legions of hating kids and skeptical adults. I think we should all take a stand and change this tragic tide of Brussel Sprout hating! They are delicious! I am talking to you now as a recovering Brussel Sprout hater. Yes…I will admit it. I too once prejudged this poor misunderstood vegetable. But not anymore!
